2. Dashboard Warning Lights - If you see a warning light on the dashboard it is a sure sign the vehicle needs attention. Ignoring these warnings can lead to serious issues.

3. Braking Problems - If you notice any unusual noises, for example knocking sounds, or if you feel a change in brake sensitivity, then it’s time to have your brakes inspected. 

4. Squeals and Squeaks - Unusual sounds from your vehicle can alert you to the need for a service.  You might hear a high-pitched whine when you turn the ignition on, or squeaks or knocking while driving – these are all signs that it is time to get a qualified technician to check over you vehicle to potentially avoid bigger problems.

5. Vibrations - As with sounds, any unusual vibrations, especially on smooth roads, need to be checked out. It could be something simple but potentially it could be something more serious like unbalanced tires or a loose bearing.

6. Engine Cutting Out - If your car stalls when you pull away from a stop, despite being in the correct gear, the issue could be clogged fuel filters or faulty spark plugs.
